The second thing that I look for is a nail polish that I am not going to have to apply a million coats of color to become opaque, I can happily say that LAQA&Co ticked that box two. I could have gotten away with just one coat but opted for two to make sure that they were really opaque.

The third thing that I look for is staying power. I have some polishes by a VERY famous cult brand that chips on me the very next day. I use a case coat and a top coat but still the chips happen. I can happily report that LAQA&Co nail polish chipped on the 6th day I was wearing it. I could not be happier.

And after a day out in the rain…

I was really excited to pick these up because I have been let down by the other recent releases of these kinds of lip shines.

This will be a very basic first impression post just letting you know what I think upon very first use.

I like the packaging, it’s nice and sleek and slides back together very easily. The consistency of the gloss is a very smooth almost balmy texture. When applied to my lips it wasn’t sticky which I like and seems to be very moisturizing. If you are searching for something with a higher color payoff that this probably won’t be the line for you. I would stick with a lipstick. There is no particular smell to these, I got an expert opinion on this as well from Mr. Makeupwishes (He smells everything) and he agrees no smell.

My overall first impression of this is good. I will be using over the next few weeks and let you know at the end of the month when I do a First Impressions Recap.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Holiday, 8 Ounce -Holy grail cleanser, already repurchased.

aussie – 3 minute miracle Deeep condtioning for damaged dos – Meh, I wouldn’t run right out and buy this again. The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Creme Body Scrub 6.9oz – I wish that they made a non-creamy version of this. I also believe that this was a limited edition body scrub.

CLINIQUE by Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse Off Formula–/3.4OZ – Cleanser – another holy grail item that I already repurchased.

L’Oreal Paris Youth Code Regenerating Skincare Day Lotion, SPF 30, 1.7-Fluid Ounce – Used to be holy grail but has been replaced by a natural product.

Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser – I really liked this cleanser and am thinking about replacing my Purity with this since it’s a natural product. Rite Aid Renewal Detoxifying Cleansing Towelettes 25 Towelette x2 – Didn’t really care for these. They were BOGOFREE at Rite Aid so I thought I would test them out.

Garnier Skincare Cleanser The Refreshing Remover Cleansing Towelette 25 Towelettes x3 – I keep coming back to these time and time again. Hands down favorite makeup wipes. Garnier The Soothing Remover Cleansing Towelettes 25 Towelettes – These are new and are for sensitive skin. They were okay but didn’t seem to work as well as my other Garnier wipes.

Lumene Sensitive Touch Gentle Cleansing Wipes 25pcs pack – These made my eyes burn! I used them up but stayed away from the eye area. I won’t be repurchasing these any time soon.

Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask, 8.5 ounces Jar 1.0oz  - I really liked this product. Smells yummy, leaves my hair soft and I split this trial size into 3 treatments. I will be purchasing the full size item in the future.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Creamy Body Wash Coconut in Vanilla – nothing special just a very basic body wash. Did its job but again nothing special.

I received a 1.01 Fl Oz bottle to try out on my poor neglected tootsies. Moisturizing my feet is probably one of the things that I like to do and do the least out of everything. I don’t like touching feet, even my own, at all. I actually dread pedicure time because of all the feet but I digress and go anyways.

The Heel Rescue balm comes in a small robin’s egg blue (Tiffany’s blue) squeezable tube with the brand logo and product name printed on the front. On the back you will find instructions in a few different languages and also all of the ingredients listed.

The balm has a very thick consistency and appears white when squeezed out of the tube. It smells very minty and is very moisturizing. Immediately after I applied this to my feet, I saw a huge difference in the texture of my feet. Not that I have gross un-manicured feet but I do suffer from very dry skin. I put it on right after I got out of the shower and then put my socks and shoes on and went about my day. At the end of the day, my feet where still soft and very moisturized.

The down side of this product is the availability. I can’t find it available anywhere in the US and a Canadian friend can’t find it there either. I have already bought another tube off of eBay and for the future, I suppose, will have to continue to do so.

When did you begin loving make-up? I was in my very early twenties when I really began to love makeup. It was my future mother-in-law that opened Pandora’s box. She brought me to a fashion and beauty show and that is all that it took. I spent years and years snapping up various items from brands and have really began to be able to hone in on what I love in a brand.

How do you feel without make-up? There are some days that I am completely fine leaving the house with no makeup at all but then there are other days that I feel completely vulnerable.
